Actually, not all that pathetic. It could have gone longer...but I fear pretty soon all we would have gotten was a long line of "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz". ;P I think it's rather important to any Sess/Kag fic for certain things to be brought out (differently for each of course), but you brought out a couple of the major ones with that. The biggest being Kagome being taken for granted as a shard detector, or thinking she is. And Sesshomaru not knowing the history of it. I think you've set yourself up for a good place to move on from.
ANyway, I hope you feel better soon and that that bump on your knee is neither a blood clot or a bone fragment, because those suck giant turtle ass. (I've had both. Yeesh.) Feel better!

This is a pretty good story. I must admit that I passed over it several times just because it sounded like so many others. I guess that will teach me, won't it?
While it may have some of the properties of some other stories, your particular insight and delivery of the story sets it apart from the others.
You have a storytellers heart and style. You have kept true to the characters and made Kagome strong instead of whiny. Inuyasha is gruff but not abusive.
I like the path of this story and I promise not to be so judgemental next time. At least give a story a chance.

The story is coming out great. Just focus on what you want to get across on the next chapter. Another author told me to set a goal for myself for number of pages you want to complete. The plot is excellent, just try to write a little bit each day.

| Nice start. It seems like the reason Kagome (at least right now) wants Sesshomaru to join is to engineer a reconciliation between Sesshomaru and Inuyasha. Seshomaru seems like he is already past the human hating part, at least in reference to Kagome, so I wonder if he'll be the one to fal first while Kagome is clueless. Those are fun fics. And Naraku was waiting for them to join forces-so he knew they would in advance? Nice imagery too.
