Anime has longer legs. I tend to follow that 1980-1990's anime were the legs are rediculously long. I have no idea why i cant make them more realistic. I LOVE the way long legs look in anime. it makes me think of that moment in pretty woman where Julia roberts tells richard gere that he has 44" of legs wrapped around him. thats ludicris but i like that. even if it means Kagome has monkey arms. and a tiny torso!

what i say really is just make it work for you. If your happy with the work then it will show through. My tutorial isn't a step by step for how to draw the way i do, but really to give you and others a way to understand what i do, and make it work for you.

If you copy my style, not that i really mind, you'll eventually fall into your own. It just takes longer. For myself when i was abotu 12 - 14 i LOVED comic books. everything about them from the story to the art. LOVED LOVED LOVED them! still do. but i really got into a comic style. this taught me how bodies look overly muscly and bulgy with tiny waists and muscles the size of your head. I still fall into it every now and then.

Then i started getting into anime/cartoon. and it started to change up. I event recently started to get into my own new style with SK. like how Sess looks in my drawing now vs. 2 years ago. BIG difference. its all aobut how much you draw, practice, and allow yourself to mess up and grow from it. You'll find that sometimes you learn to draw best from making enough mistakes to make you crazy. then you'll find something you like drawing or a way, and you'll throw that into how you draw now.

like i draw barbie hands on everyone. they may be more meaty but they still look just like a barbies hand does >_> don't tell Sess.
