For my story Chain of Love I decided to name her Kimiko, since it has the traditional female name element 'ko' in it, and because the kanji for 'kimi' means empress. I thought it was rather suitable a name. ;3

I chose the name Keiko, because I like it. I didn't make her a cold bitch though. I made her a kami that gave up her powers and her place in the heavens to live with Touga. I can't help it, I'm a softie!

(This is all in 'The Miko and the Taiyoukai')

Eh, yeah Touga, is what the crew of IY the movie 3 called InuTaishou, but that is just a title, meaning something along the lines of Dog General. But, His mother doesnt have a name or even a title so to speak. most of it's just assuming on the fan's part. Really RT has such a great imagination,b ut she loses a lot of points on details. sadly she gave us Chars that we love so much we deal with her. O well.

Personally I call her Hatsumomo, b/c she looks like it would suit her, she reminds me of that char from Memoirs of a geisha, and well, 'First Peach' sounds as if it would be a valid name for that time frame.

I have requested that ff.net add Sesshoumaru's mother to the list of character names, but unfortunately, I don't know it!

I've searched around and the best I could find was either InuKimi, SessMama or SessMom.

Does anyone know another name she may go by?

I don't know. Maybe she's another of those characters who doesn't have an official name like Inupapa, but with Inupapa's case, he's listed under Inutaisho, which is actually his title when he was still alive. I guess you could only make one up, like so many authors have with their fanfiction.

From what I remember, she doesn't have an official name that is listed in the manga.

I just give her the name Megumi (treasured beauty) because I love name and it kinda irks me Rumiko doesn't state her name n.n
