I've been getting into Crossovers lately - which is weird since I don't usually like them but anyway:

I thought it would be a great idea if there was a "Crossover" selection in the FanFiction section under "Universe". I've been reading quite a few Inuyasha crossovers lately but finding a SessKag Pairing crossover isn't exactly the easiest thing... especially if you want them as main characters in the FanFiction.

Thoughts? Suggestions? "Kairou, this was a horrible idea. Why did you suggest it???"

I can look into the below if ya'll think that it's something you want. I don't think it would be to difficult to add in a new Universe option. I would hope it wouldn't be anyway.

Talk amongst each other, and what not. When some higher power (*wave* to the powers that be) hollers and says to look into adding it, I can.

I'm definitely open to the idea, especially because I do count cross-overs as a separated universe, personally.

If it is relatively simple to do, I'd say go for it! I'd like to see a cross-over search option somewhere, under universe or otherwise.

I say that it'd be a good idea.

I'm glad I'm not the only one interested in this XD but I do hope that it's more than just us *shot*

Remember, this is a Sesshomaru/Kagome Fan site - I imagine that the stories would have to still revolve around this pairing but maybe involve other worlds/fandoms and their characters. I think this is something the mods would really have to discuss. I see it as being another thing they'll have to moderate and from my understanding, they are pretty busy as it is.

I think it's a great idea as I have been writing for another fandom and would love to combine the two, but the people doing the work behind the scenes would have to agree to the addition.

I am definately up for this i have been throwing around ideas of having it be mainly sesskag but have a third person in from another verse, i'd really like to do this. I'm very much in favor for it.

Well yes, that was the whole point of me suggesting the feature. I've been reading quite a few crossovers but finding a crossover that's also SessKag was a bit difficult.

And I can understand that it would probably make the mods more busy -.- which is a rather big downside to the suggestion *shot*

So ... In theory there should be a "Crossover Universe" now available.

Let me know when ya'll find something that got broken. =)

NOTE: This will be removed if it turns out to be more of a problem than what it's trying to fix... Just saying.

Just tried posting a new story and didn't find "Crossover Universe" available from the drop down box... do I need to log out and log back in to find it or something?

No... I probably forgot to modify some files on dokuga.com thinking of the modifications on my test site. :/

I'll double check all the modified files here in a few minutes and see what I didn't change.

Just noticed that, while it shows up as "Crossover Universe" on both the home page and the fanfiction page... it shows as NO universe on the author's profile page under the fanfiction heading.

Example: http://www.dokuga.com/component/comprofiler/viewprofile?user=12193

This author's new story, "Jailbait," is a crossover, but doesn't show any universe selection on her profile page when you click on the "Fanfiction" tab.

Oh, c'mon now... I was just letting you know where the bugs were, like you asked! Yeah, that's the ticket!! That's JUST what I was doing!

J/K... but I did think you deserved to know that it managed to mess itself up in one spot, lol. And, heaven only knows how many different places you'd have to look to find where it's supposed to be changed, hence the 'hunting' reference.

Still, the fact that it works in two out of three places is, indeed, commendable... THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
