so...I was posting the final chapter for Not Impervious when the site must have crashed or experienced difficulties. When I was able to get back on, I saw that not only was the chapter posted without my hitting submit, but it was posted what seems to be about a hundred times ! Okay, so maybe not a hundred but still...it was a bunch. I wasn't finished with my author's note announcing the fic's conclusion and thanking my fellow Dokugians for their continued interest....quite distressing I have to say.

As far as I'm aware you can still go back and edit the chapter. And you can also deleted excess chapters O.o

Your story only has the one chapter. Unfortunately I have gotten over 100 notifications now. I had to unfav the story just to stop the inbox flooding.

I just deleted chapter 38... please finish your author's note and attempt to repost now that the site is not experiencing a hiccup.

For those who are suffering from the inbox deluge... I am currently attempting to delete, 100 at a time, over 24,000 messages... PLEASE BEAR WITH ME.

Well, it does say her story is now at 705k words, so... wow.

OMFShit ..... I think I just hit my e-mail inbox maximum with those notifications (especially since I have her both on Fav Author and Fav Story).

I don't know if you guys have "shell access" to the server, but if you do, the quick way to get rid of the e-mails would be to do this:

rm -rf /var/spool/mqueue/*

That will just (recursively, and forcefully) wipe everything out of the mail queue of the server. This is going under the assumption that the default mail program is used, and the default queue directory was used.

That would be much easier than trying to clear out 100 at a time if it's possible to do it. :/

Thanks, Mitharus... I have no clue how to access the "shell" - so I just used the portal that I do have access to. It's cleaned out now, and we shouldn't be having other issues of this nature, unless the whole hiccup managed to completely disrupt the mail program. In that case... never mind, I'm not going to even THINK about that likelihood!! LAlalalala... fingers in ears... LOL!

Yes, Shay... Oroyukae put that in one of her author's notes... either one or two chapters before the most recent. She will be writing a sequel, so never fear!!!
