Hello everyone! I'm issuing my very first challenge! I really like AU stories, so I would love to see more lovely fics set in modern times!

Theme: Sesshoumaru and Kagome must be two unrelated people who meet under some unexpected circumstances and make a connection. Their meeting place can be anywhere; from the grocery store to a live gig. They can either retain their youkai/miko status or simply be humans; however, there must not be history between them prior to their first meeting. I would like to read something fresh and original without any relation to Canon

- It has to be a new story. It can be a chapter story, oneshot, collection of oneshots/drabbles or even a fanart. There is no word count.
- It can be of any genre or rating, but please mention here if it's M or MA rated.
- There is no deadline, so write at your leisure

Of course you can combine this challenge with another, Ai! The only rule is that it HAS to be a new story. That means you must have not posted the story prior to entering this challenge

So... I'm guessing this doesn't apply to recently-made stories? I have one that eerily matches the criteria you've set.

If not, I'll just issue it as a recommendation and as something for you to read anyway.

P.S. You could change the title of this thread, so that there's less confusion about which category the challenge falls under.

Unfortunately, it needs to be a new story, but I'll definitely check out your story. I'll look through your stories. It should be easy to find right?

His desperate plan goes awry, however, when he survives and is sent to the hospital in a coma. Oblivious to this fact, Sesshoumaru unknowingly finds solace in his mind in the only place he could be reunited with his love: His memories. [Will be updated with prompts/challenges. Drabble lengths may vary]

I already have a fic that fits this criteria but its told in Sessh's POV and I've been meaning to write a companion piece told in Kagome's POV. Now I have a reason to! YAY! I'll post as soon as I'm done with it.

I think my story meets what you are wanting it waws published 1/19/13 so I am not sure if it was before you posted this challenge or not so I will wait for your permission to collect a banner.
