This is a kinda different challenge. I dunno if it's been done before, but if it has, let's pretend it hasn't. Inspiration comes in many forms and shapes - words, pictures, music, etc. I dunno if anyone will participate either, but I figured it was worth a chance. Here be the guidelines:

- Choose a fanfic/fanart that inspires you and write/draw something based on it. It can be a story or a drawing or both if you're feeling really inspired.
- There is no word count or time limit or anything of the sort. All stories, arts, genres, and ratings are acceptable.
- Mention if it's rated M or MA - that applies for both your entry and the fanfic/fanart that inspired you.
- Post both your entry and the story/art that inspired you in this thread and claim your pretty.
- Be very careful not to copy the original author/artist. Inspiration is good, but copying isn't.
- Please ask for permission first from the original author/artist.

I'm in and I'm going to do something based off "Shades of Love" by Aiko. I have no idea what it will be yet but something about Sesshomaru in that uniform protecting Kagome kind of gets to me. I'll try to have it up soon!

Just a suggestion to save yourselves from problems in the future, you might want to require that they get permission from the original author/artist before basing something off of their work. Not everyone would find that flattering and if a fan notices the connection later, having the original's permission will help settle thoughts of plagiarism quickly.
