Okay, this is an old story. Sesshy's mother is the goddess of the moon, and there is a shine dedicated to her. It's a long story, as I recall, but I don't remember many details. I think it's pretty canon, I seem to remember that Kagome did come from modern times, etc. Sesshomaru intends to mate/marry her, and he has to introduce her to his mother... She goes to the shrine.
