The fic I am looking for this time starts with Sesshomaru's pups (between 6 and 7 in number) are ill due to a poison of Naraku's and are slowly dying. Sesshomaru enlists the help of Kagome to heal them. They end up with marks, like tattoos, of teardrops by their eyes because of it.

One scene I remember was of Kagome, sleeping with the pups laying on and around her, to be joined in this big puppy pile by Sesshomaru and Inuyasha. I loved that scene.

Okay, I think the story you are looking for is "She Who the Prophecy Fortold" by Sunset Miko. I've never read the story before, but I remembered a picture on Deviantart that depicted the puppy scene. I don't think that story is finished though.
