From what i remember it was decently long and featured kagome seeing shippo as her son, sesshomaru seeing rin as his daughter, kagomes powers being so strong it made her essentially immortal with her being able to extend that immortality to others if they accept, and found family pack fluff. It has been previously established that at some point in the past that miroku had helped kagome fall out of love with inuyasha.

I cant seem to find this fic anywhere, and i cant remember if i read it on here, ff.net, or ao3, and at this point im worried its been deleted...

I remember it started out after the end of a huge battle, possibly the defeat of naraku? And sesshomaru was observing as kagome went around offering help and healing to allies, all while seemingly ignoring or not noticing her own injury, which upon reaching him, he points out and she says she didnt notice and asks him to cauterize it, leaving a scar that she doesnt mind and it made sesshomaru impressed.

Later in he finds her training by herself with shippo tagged along, and offers to train her abilities which she accepts.

They grow closer and start falling in love and shippo asks sesshomaru to be his dad and train him to i think? Which he agrees to.

Eveutally the rest of the group (inuyasha, sango, and miroku) go to find them and are surprised with how strong shes become as she goes almost toe to toe with sesshomaru.

Inuyasha is upset that kagome no longer loves him and leaves at some point.

Sango learns of kagomes immortality and grieves for her but also refuses the offer to become immortal and pack.

Miroku however has long ago realized the while he loves sango, he no longer thinks they will work and doesnt see a future with her.
Sesshomaru talks to him and miroku admits that he loves kagome, but respects her and just wants her to be happy, and is happy for her and sesshomaru and just wants to stay in her life and save her the grief of eventually losing him, who she sees as a brother figure, so he accepts the offer of immortality and becomes pack with them. Soon after there is a pack bathing scene where they all help eachother wash their hair, and its very familial and respectful.

Eventually kagome, sess, rin, shippo, and miroku set out, with kohaku joining them at some point, and sesshomaru gets all of the matching outfits with unique designs and their own colors.

At some point a few past enemies get revived and get a second chance at life and are offered to join their pack as family to heal and grow.

Thats all i can remember at the moment, hopefully i wasnt mixing any of the details with another fic, but i hope at least someone will recognize some of this and help me find this fic!
