I know that this might sound silly to some but for me I really don't know and I just want to know. Anyhow I realized that I am a whelp now and I am pretty sure I was a pup before. What I want to know is how and when did it happen, and what did I do to cause the change? Someone please explain it to me, and please don't laugh okay!

The rankings are, in general, based on the number of posts.

You'll see some floating around like r0o's "destroyer of boxes"; and Skye's "Darth Skye".

Yup, that's correct. The normal ranks are as follows:



It has been considered reworking the rank title's and post count's, but hasn't been thought about seriously.

EDIT (2013-07-29): Ranks were re-done. Post reflects new rankings.

That is a very creative idea, and it is something to aspire to and attain. I am sure others will be informed and post some of their thoughts and also respond to the forum post while gaining points to achieve the highest rankings.

You should be able to do it fairly quickly by participating in the Forum Games section.

When I found out about the forum ranking I became obsessed kind of lol I started participating in the forum games mostly to up my rankings. When I first started learning how to use the forums I made a couple mistakes, but the mods where there to help and correct any small errors. Which, by the way, I LOVE our mods because they such an amazing job at keeping an eye on Dokuga and their willingness to help blows my mind still.

I was poking around the other day and realized that Daiyoukai being 160 was not a hard goal to achieve. There are like 100 - 200 members that have that rank and have had it forever! There's a few of you that are in the 700's already! a hand full over 1000, and only one over 2000. Games are a fun place to play to get them up! just don't spam!

So I figured I'd add more into it. but it seemed to take a bit for the system to update, so i didn't even notice that!
