I understand your opinion, and honest to say, I agree with you. There are some pretty crazed fans out there. A little too obsessive for my tastes.

However, I simply made this thread wondering if some others may have seen the Kagome/Sesshomaru resemblence in the book. Not because of obsession of Twilight.

Hmm... well I guess there is some semblance between them but Kagome isn't as dependent on Sesshomaru or like an obcessed mindless drone like Isabella.

I like to think Kagome can make it on her own and is stong minded and doesn't let things effect her too much. Too often do I see her a self-pitying, girly girl who clings to anyone around asking them to take her pain away. This greatly peeves me and I've come across this too often in the many fanfics I've read. As for Sesshomaru, I like him to pretty much stay the same with some show of emotion now and then privately with Kagome (because heaven fobide it would drive to the point of pulling my hair out if he acted like he usually does all the time!)
