I had been having SUCH good luck reading stories on ff.net lately. No viruses or trojan thingies like I used to get. I just noticed that there was a sequel to "Dirt" by Nifty Paint on there, and went to read it, when, BAM, my computer was hijacked by one of those phoney security warning scams. It installed a program on my computer, even though Viper told me it had blocked it. I had to wrestle with it for a while to get it uninstalled. So if you are planning on going onto ff.net, watch for the screen freezing up, or if it seems to be taking too long to go to the next screen, and if it happens, CUT the POWER to your computer right away, hopefully this will stop the thing from infecting your computer.
