I don't know I never intentionally seek for that pairing. Besides, as I was saying, I don't think anyone could write an alternate pairing like forthright. She has a way with slow-budding romance you can't help but ship the pairing(s).

I came to Sess/Kag by way of Ouran High School Host Club fics: I would browse through people's favs on ff.n and see SK in with their Mori/Haruhi and Kyoya/Haruhi fics and I'd go "Huh? Really? How to they get that...?" When I browsed to see what the SK fuss was all about I read "Unspoiled" first. She turned me into an SK shipper!

Hmmm...well, I like NarakuxKagome and Inupapaxkagome pairings :3

I read the occasional Naraku/Kagome, Kagura/Kouga, Inu-papa/Inu-mama/Izayoi, and Sango/OC demon. (Knight of Disorder is responsible for that last one, lol.) I can't read Sess/Rin or Shippo/Kagome because both feel somewhat incestuous to me. I tried reading a few Inu-papa/Kagome fanfics, but there is too much awkwardness for me. No offense is intended to those that enjoy Sess/Rin, Shippo/Kagome, and Inu-papa/Kagome pairing fics.

Totally understood and totally fair. I never read Sessh/Rin, actually. And, I will admit, that I have a larger preference for A as opposed to CU with Shippo/Kagome simply because I honestly enjoy the Mama/Son or Sister/Brother thing they have going on.

Yes, i also can not read a story between SesshomaruxRin or KagomexShippo.

I first came to Inuyasha fandom because it is the second most popular in FFN. I also had the same thought when I browsed through the fanfics by the number of reviews (though now I don't do that anymore) and was like, "Emm... hello, why anyone would ship those two?"

Then the curiosity struck me, and so... with a cautious click, I decided to read "Unspoiled".. a drabble lead to another... and I found myself sleeping later than normal just to finish the story. I can't ship Kagome with Inuyasha anymore after that. SessKag is forever OTP.

True. I can't see them, for the life of me, ever, seeing those two as a couple. It was just... downright creepy. Even if the author has written Rin as an adult, I will always think of her as the little girl that followed her lord everywhere. Although I will always respect other people's preference, of course.

What's in a Soul: Memories of a Chaotic Life is a series of ongoing one-shots that expand on or mention things that didn't make it in the original fic. Knight of Disorder is an excellent writer and I personally recommend all of his work.
