Umm I loved this and the fact that kagome was strong enough to not let her love sway her into forgiveness so easily!!! But...ummm.....i do still need an actual epiloge! Lol

O no! So sad how everything ended; Sesshoumaru messed up big time. I still love the story thought. Now I'm just going to forever wondering would Kagome ever forgive him and go back.

Not a happy ending story like in the beauty and the beast hmm. Hope you'll make a sequel after this.

I honestly hope she never goes back to him. I really hate that that the rape theme is so prevelant in fanfiction. 9.75 times out of ten, it's never done right. We all know that despite the ratings on fanfics, younger audiences will still read them. It sickens me that young kids who may not understand real love and compassion might believe that giveing themselves completely (like Kagome) to a brutish man might make him remorseful. Spells be damned.

I am ashamed that it has taken me this long to finish the story! I am happy with the ending... At least he didn't die so it's not that bad! Well I can not wait for your next story because knowing you it is going to be good!(;

It seems like it is an amazing story, but I can go further than here. It is riddled with tense jumping. The constant switching from had, did, was, could etc. to has, does, is, and can drives me up a wall. I just can't get past the constant corrections in my head. It's so well written beyond this, that it just angers me I can't make my mind get around it. I am sure it is a beautiful story, an amazing story. Everything I have read so far is captivating and like a vacuum, it sucks you in. It has a kind of fairy tale aspect to it as well. I dont know if it was intended, but I thought I should share It truly gives that Beauty and the Beast feeling, regardless of it's darker nature. It makes you feel as if there is hope for a happier ending. :/  I thank you for the wonderful writings I did read.

Well, it wasn't entirely happy, but i can't see a way for it to be that way without Kagome blocking out alot of crap. He'll just have to suffer a while and she'll need some counseling if they have it. Sad this is the end, wish there was an epilogue *hinthint* but if there isn't any i understand. I loved this story and will imagine an ending that would make me satisfied if there isn't one in the future.

No...no epilogue? No "Sesshomaru mended broken bonds with the villages,starting with Kagome's. He once again became their defender, protector, and lord. He checked over his land often, but strayed to the village in which Kagome lived the most. While he understood that she needed space to heal, it was impossibly difficult to remain away from the woman who had not only freed him from the witches curse, but the prison of his own arrogant heart. Yet, he still respected her desires and needs, and never allowed her to see him when he came calling. And after a time, Kagome's heart and soul mended, the scars from that awfule night fading beneath the longing to see golden eyes filled with love and free from torment gaze upon her again...." Or something like that?

Pleaaaase? Cause hat woul be awesome! I've loved this story so much, and am delighted that I actually only found it towards the end.... waiting through a year of updates might have made me loopy lol XD

But in all seriousness, this was an excellent take on Beauty and the Beast, and I'm so grateful that you took the time to grace all us rabid fans with your wonderous story!
