I read this this morning before I went off to class, but I just had to come back to leave a review. Ah. I fear this might be a long one, and it will be difficult because I don't know how to double space in these darn boxes! Anywho~~ Your writing style is most excellent. You have a way with words.... that it is simply poetry, but more. I did have an idea that Kagome might have been attached to another person, the very subtle hints were there, after all. Lol I even imagined that big fluffy white dog being an Inu Yokai or something :P Your characterizations and character interactions are very superb. I love how Kagome still wants Sesshoumaru, but has also moved on. Sesshoumaru, on the other hand, is quite the anomaly. Usually, I cannot bear to see him less than perfect. Or maybe in this case, less than powerful. And I suppose you portrayed it well. It saddens me greatly when I read of the adultery. I don't quite like that sort of thing very much. Nonetheless, you execute it superbly. I don't want to read it, but you make it so that I have to read it. The fact that Sesshoumaru did indeed cheat on his former wife Kagome makes it so that winning her will be harder. Because, it's all fine and dandy should he just leave her like that. But to go to someone else? I'm afraid I lean towards the jealous possessive bitch side. And should my husband (if I had one) committed those acts to me, and then 4 years later want me back, I'd quite want him to go through hell for it. And sure, Kagome is one of the more forgiving types, or so you explained in your chapters, but the thing is that we, as the audience, will not be satisfied unless Sesshoumaru breaks his back for her (or so to say). The fact that Kagome also has another one in her life makes it more difficult for Sesshoumaru, but I don't think that that is as impacting as how Sesshoumaru cheated on Kagome. Do you get what I mean? xD I should stop here. But one more thing~ I very very much enjoy how you portray all of the characters of Inuyasha. They are all so very in character with your plot. Thank you.
