Why do I feel like he waited two minutes after Kagome got into the shower, stood at the foot of the bed and was like, "Get up and get out"? LMFAO 

At least he is making her talk this out. Holding it in and pushing it to the back of her mind won't help things now or in the long run. A decision has to be made very soon though.

He is her brother-in-law. And this has been happening on and off for almost the entire marriage, I'd guess. Right? How emotionally exhausting for Kagome and frustrating for Sesshomaru. Hoping there's no additional unnecessary drama, like being exposed or something unseemly like that.

You know what? This is bizarre, but for some reason, also extremely Sesshomaru. It's randomly very in-character for him to not give a fuck and just continue doing what he wants, sending consistently mixed signals to everyone in the room. 

Really hoping Kagome can make it out the room after her shower, without waking "Kagura" up. 

I'm assuming the scar from the other chapter is from a brotherly altercation? 

This will be another awesome story. You'll see. 

Umm... Exactly how casual are these relationships?! I mean, Kagome is obviously horrified and embarrassed, but somehow I feel like that's because she didn't know he had company, not that he had company (after all, she doesn't have much room to argue). I'm sure there's nothing to really be made of this, since he didn't think enough of whomever that is (Kagura?) to at least warn Kagome, but his lack of care tends not to transfer well. LOL Whoever that is in his bed is going to become a thorn later on. It's so early to set up a triangle, but I mean, go for it? 

Man, their lives we unnecessarily complicated. Makes you appreciate the boring in your own life. 

So Inuyasha is an alcoholic. Kind of cringey for Sesshomaru to offer Kagome some, then.. But then, it might be a backhanded offer to prove how adult and/or "strong" they are comparatively. Glad it wasn't domestic abuse. 

They're definitely sleeping together, though obviously not regularly anymore. Another complicated spiderweb of a relationship~

Great first chapter. It's reading as if this is more of an emotional issue than a financial one. So I'm guessing Sessho is the dependable friend/brother-in-law that Kagome runs to when her fiance/husband gets irrationally angry or starts using again.

I took a break from messing with more site nonsense to read this delicious smutfic update! I loved every minute of it, as always... especially the byplay between these two. It never fails to amaze me how easily you can evoke the whole scene with so few words. You have a prodigious talent, m'dear!!

Last chapter I compared it to the slow relationship buildup of Only Human but this is reminding me more of That Night. I hope they're gonna discuss birth control though I wouldn't mind a love child! Please update soon!

I'm really liking their dynamic here, like truly good friends who can rely on each other, but there's something deeper... like Sesshoumaru making her dinner after fixing her up with a shower and clothing kind of deeper. She should call him oni-san just to rile him up lol because he is being such a good big brother xD I'm dying to know what happened with Inuyasha!
