The Real Groom

"So.... Are you nervous?" Kagome asked.

"Not really," Inuyasha answered.

Finally after defeating Naraku, they decided to get married. Everything was planned out, and the wedding was taking place today. Everyone was coming. Even Sesshomaru.

A few hours later, Kagome and Inuyasha were standing in front of Kaede, waiting for her to say the words long waited for. Inuyasha wore a nice navy blue robe while Kagome wore a beautiful kimono with floral designs bordering the bottom of her sleeves and kimono. Everyone was joyous and happy and respectfully waited. But Sesshomaru stood under a nearby tree and watched.

He hated Inuyasha to no ends at this point. He had taken Tessaiga, and now... Kagome. Sesshomaru looked up at the girl. She had always intrigued him, her independent spirit, bravery, loyalty. He had never found anyone like her, and wasn't going to just let this one slip through his fingers. She was beautiful. She was clever. She was perfect. She was there. Sesshomaru could feel his beast urging him on to take her. But Sesshomaru knew better than to take something that did not belong to him. Kagome belonged to his brother.

The very thought of that made his eyes bleed red, and gave him the feeling of anger and hatred.

He heard Kaede begin to speak and when she was done, Inuyasha replied. She spoke again. Kagome opened her mouth to speak. Kaede said the final word and Inuyasha pulled Kagome in to kiss her. Their lips met and Sesshomaru felt himself lose the last bit of self-control he had and leapt over to where the stood. He pulled Kagome away from Inuyasha and swung his fist into her stomach, making her lose consciousness. He had to be sure she was unable to do anything from escaping.

"Sesshomaru! What are you doing?" Inuyasha yelled at him. Sango and Miroku came to where they were standing and got into a fighting stance.

"Let her go, Sesshomaru!" Sango yelled angrily at the youkai, his eyes now a dark red.

"Make an attempt to retrieve her, she dies as well as you," he said with a gruff voice. With that, everyone froze as he lifted his claw to her throat, showing he was serious.

"What are you going to do, Sesshomaru?" asked Inuyasha, trying to keep calm.

"I'm taking back what is mine." Sesshomaru answered. Then he leapt into the air and disappeared from sight.

When Kagome woke up, she felt someone carrying her bridal style up steep stairs and into a room. She looked up at the man carrying her and realized it was none other than Sesshomaru. She remembered being abruptly pulled away from Inuyasha, then knocked out by a strong force. Kagome began to struggle in his arms.

Sesshomaru tossed her onto his bed and stalked around it, his eyes began to lose its dark red color.

"Sesshomaru, please... Return me to Inuyasha... I don't want anything to do with this," begged Kagome. The amber color returned to his eyes at her voice and he looked at her.

"Does this Sesshomaru not please you, my Kagome?" he asked lustfully.

"Yours? I'm married for goodness sake! Now return me t-" Kagome was suddenly slammed down onto the bed and Sesshomaru leaned down to her ear.

"Yes... mine... Give up Kagome... At least enjoy being with me. You'll never be able to return to him."

Kagome struggled again and screamed, but was silenced when he crushed his lips against his. She pushed her hands up on his chest, trying to pry him off of her. Sesshomaru licked her lips, demanding access into her mouth. Kagome pursed her lips as tight as she could together, but Sesshomaru grabbed her breast through the thin fabric. Sesshomaru began removing her ruffled kimono, never leaving her neck. Kagome tried removing his clothes clumsily, but Sesshomaru became impatient and quickly stripped off his clothing. He was completely bare, and his arousal was obvious.
