Chapter 1

Surprise Surprise

"InuYasha, I'm going home whether you like it or not!" Kagome yelled at InuYasha.

"Wench!, no your not I don't care if its your birthday or not I said no!!" InuYasha screamed back at Kagome.

"InuYasha, don't make Kagome mad you'll end up-" Miroku was cut off by a deafening yell.

"SIT!" Shouted Kagome.

"InuYasha, its to bad you don't listen." Shippo sighed, Sango and Kilala just nod their heads in agreement.

With all that said and done Kagome packed her stuff and took off towards the well. What they didn't know was there were a pair of crimson colored eyes fallowing their every movement and watching the whole thing.

Kagome made it to the well, jumped in and was home back in the future. It had been awhile since she had been able to go back. That was all InuYasha's fault.

Kagome ran to the house and slid the door open yelled "mom I'm home."

"Hello dear" Her mother said "Oh hun meets me in the living room after you get all situated." Her mom said in a honey sweet tone.

Kagome nodded her head, ran up stairs and took a nice relaxing bath. When she was done she got dressed in a tank-top and booty shorts which said "Beach Bum" on the buttox.

When she was done she ran down stairs and rushed into the living room were she found her mom with dazed yet saddened look on her face.

When Kagome sat down her mother snapped out of her stupor to see a worried look on her daughters face.

She knew this was going to be hard, so she started out by saying "happy birthday dear" she paused when Kagome's worried expression turned to one of utter joy and happiness.

Aki ( Kagome's mom) didn't know how to tell her daughter what she was about to say, so she sighed, took a deep breath, and said

"Kagome, honey this might be hard on you but I have to tell you."

Kagome had a completely stupefied look on her face, and with that she asked "what do you have to tell me mom?"

"Kagome I'm... I'm... not your real mother." She said and looked into Kagome's cerulean colored eyes.

Kagome was shocked to put it simply. She just looked at her mother with eyes that looked as though they were going to pop out.

"But how is it possible I'm not your daughter? I have been here since I was born. Haven't I?" Kagome stated still in utter shock.

Aki shook her head and said "no you were not always here. One day I was walking back to the house, and I past by the well house I heard crying. So I went inside and there you were at the bottom of the well."

Kagome shook her head, she and looked down at her hands. Her mom continued taking it that Kagome was speechless.

"When I found you had two notes, two swords, and a necklace with a snowflake with a star in the middle of it. I also noticed that you had a strange aura around you. It was pure as would be a miko's, yet tainted like that of a demon, and that's when I noticed the markings on you." She stated waiting for Kagome to do something.

When Kagome nodded her head her mom continued. "Well when I saw you, you had claws, the claws had tips that were blue, you had a snowflake with a star on it, and it was on your forehead, your cheeks had two strips on each side they were blue and then green on the bottom strip, your eyes looked like sapphires, with lime green streaks and silver dots in them, you had regular green, sky blue, and silver streaks all through your ebony colored hair. (ebony is one of the most darkest shade of black in the world.) You had regular green and dark blue strips on your wrists and hips. All in all you looked beautiful. I never opened the note that was for you."

With that said and done Kagome finally spoke. "Can I read the note?" She spoke in a barely a audible whisper.

Her mom handed her the letter. Kagome quickly opened the letter like it was a gift she had been waiting for her whole life.

Dear Kagome,

If you are reading this letter then that means I'm no longer with you. As you know you have reached your 19th moon cycle and you are of age to know the truth. Your father is a white and silver Inu demon, I am a black and blue Inu demon, and I also have miko powers, your father and I are full-blooded demons, and are among the rarest meaning you are the rarest demon and one of most powerful demon in the world. As you know you have two swords, and a necklace. The two swords are from your father and I. The one that is white and silver was your fathers, and the one that is blue, green, and black was mine. The swords will answer to you and you only. No one else can wield them except your mate, and if you pass them down to your children they also will be able to wield them. Once you take the swords from their sheaths you will know how to use them. The necklace I have given you will unlock all of your powers, both demon and miko alike. It will also give you full knowledge of both. Your father may still be alive but I don't know for certain. You are also the one and only heir to the Northern Lands, and don't let anyone tell you different. Remember that I love you my daughter and I always will, even though I'm no longer there in person, but I am in sprit.

With that said and done Kagome couldn't hold back the tears that had surfaced upon reading the letter. She broke down in her mother Aki's arms and began to sob.

When she was done they talked some more, and Kagome decided to go back to the Feudal Era first thing in the morning.

Before she left, she packed her black bag ( A/N:: I hate yellow so in this story its black, =) now back to the story) and put her swords at her hip. After that she took the necklace and stared at it for a while until she decided it was time to change. With that she put it on, and changed into the most beautiful Inu demoness the world will ever see.
