Kagome had just come from the village she was staying in. It had just been wrecked by demons of Naraku. She walked very wobbly from the three days of no food or water. All she could see was a fire up ahead, she decided that she would stay were the fire was. She laid down on Sesshoumaru's tail, thinking it was a pillow. Sesshoumaru thought it was Rin, so he didn't mind. She woke up to Sesshoumaru standing above her looking at her with curiosity and a little anger. *She's Inuyasha's girl??* Sesshoumaru thought. She looked down and then begged for him to spare her life.

"I won't kill you!"

"Thank you, I am ever so grateful!!!!"

"Where did you come from?!"

"I am from the Keade's village east from here, it was destroyed by Naraku's demons." She said as she bowed in respect.

"Oh, I see, you can stay here then with me, Rin, & Jaken. You can help me find him."

"Thanks, I am forever grateful!!"

"Stop with all the thank yous!"

"Sorry!" She looked around "Where is Rin and Jaken???"

"They are somewhere safe."

" That's good."

He said nothing

"I think I might go to sleep, is it okay?"

"Do as you please."

"Okay." She laid down and went to sleep.

Sesshoumaru had this feeling in the pit of his stomach, he did not know what it was. He looked over to her and thought "She is pretty for a Human." He looked over at the river next to them and decided to take a stroll to see if any demons were around for him to slay. She woke a few hours later. Sesshoumaru was cooking a big pot of stew. He handed her a cup of it and set down next to her and when he did he got the feeling he couldn't explain again. He looked at her, she was cold and dirty.

"Would you like to bathe?"

"Oh, Yes!! I feel so dirty, it's been three days."

"There's a hot springs over there."

"Thank you, your very nice."

She finished her stew and walked over to the hot springs. Sesshoumaru could smell the sent of cherry blossoms but were did it come from.

She took off her clothes and Rin came up to her and asked if her clothes need washed, she said yes. Rin handed her a kimono and a clip to put her hair up.

"This should be okay your just a little bit bigger than me, and the hair clip should hold."

"Thank you Rin."

"Your welcome, Bye!!"

"Bye, Rin!" She got into the water, she felt so relieved and calm. She looked down and thought

"Sesshoumaru was pretty nice to let me stay with them. I thought he hated humans." She washed her body and hair. When she stepped out and grabbed her towel, she met up with Sesshoumaru. He grabbed her and told her to get down.

"What are you doing, I'm naked?!?!?!?!?!"

"Demons are coming, stay here. I'll protect you!"

He ran off and started slaying all the demons. She only had a towel around her. Then, out of nowhere a demon jumped down and grabbed her. She turned, pointed her bow and arrow toward him and said

"Arrow Of Sealing!!"

And out of her bow came a arrow and went thru the demon and killed it. She then fell to her knees. Sesshoumaru, after seeing the whole attack, ran to her and caught her.

"What's wrong??"

"I still must be weak."

"Let me carry you to the camp."

He started walking toward the camp

"Thank you for helping me. You have been very helpful." She looked up at him. He looked straight ahead, trying not to blush, until he looked down and got the feeling in his stomach again, she was still only in a towel.

"Are you blushing??"

"NO!! It's just hot!!"

"Okay, Mr. It's hot! So what are we eating tomorrow??"

"Don't know. I will find something tomorrow."

"I'll cook. You can go with me to the market to get food. I think I have some money left.?"

She checked her bag that was across his back.

" I have some!!"

"Here we are." Sesshoumaru said hurryingly.

"Thanks again for carrying me."

"It's okay, don't thank me."

"Well time to go to sleep, where are we going to sleep?"

"Over there by that patch of clovers."

"Ohhhh, it looks sooo soft!!" He paid no attention to her and walked over to the patch of clovers. She ran & laid down on the little patch of clovers. Sesshoumaru laid down by her, but tries not to get to close.

" I'm not going to bite, you can lay by me." "I'm Fine."

He looked away from her. She leaned over to look at him.

"Am I bothering you??"

"No. I would like you stay around and help me with Rin and Jaken."

"Really!!?? Thank you Sesshoumaru!!"

She leaned over and hugged him out of excitement.

"Oh Sorry, I'm just happy your letting me stay."

He looked off.

Then, Kagome said "Well we better get to sleep so we can get up in the morning."

"Yeah."

"Good night." She then soon fell asleep.

He noticed a smelled the scent of cherry blossoms again but they come out in spring. He pondered on it and fell asleep.

She woke up the next morning excited and full of energy, but she didn't see Sesshoumaru anywhere. He came walking from the thick forest.

"What?"

"Oh sorry for bothering you, I just didn't know where you were, it kind of worried me."

"It's okay, Were leaving soon"

"Wait a minute, I need to get dressed."

She walked over to the river were her old clothes were and looked for her skirt and tank that was in her bag.

It was a tank top that was pink and mini skirt that was red plaid, she got it for x-mas. She ran over to Sesshoumaru and grabbed his hand. She looked up into his golden eyes and smiled. He showed a type of sadness in his eyes.

"Come on, we have to go to the market."

"Okay Kagome." She never heard him call her by her name. They Walked to the next village and stopped at a tea shop and got tea. She brung her bag that had ramen noodles and other goodies. She put them on to boil and got the box lunches. He looked over in curiosity.

"Oh this, it's just ramen noodles and box lunches."

"Oh?"

"There Chicken Flavor Noodles!"

"Can I have some?"

"Yes."

"Kagome can I ask you something?"

"Yeah, what is it?"

"Do you love Inuyasha?"

"Huh?? I...I I I....(Gulp)..I can't really answer that....I like him as a friend and I...I just don't know."

"Does HE love YOU?"

"I don't know?" She turned and she had a mark on her neck. "What's that bruise from?"

"Uh..uh...uh..nothing!"

"Did Inuyasha do that to you??"

"No.....well not exactly...he just...well..he did."

"Why would he hurt you like this a beautiful creature needs to be well taken care of." Kagome blushed and put on a sincere smile. "Oh look the ramen's done!" She leaned over and fixed herself and him some. He just stared at her food and then finally took a bite.

"You like it?"

"Yeah, this is pretty good."

"Here have the rest of mine, I'm full."

"You sure?"

"Yeah." She said with a smile that would put toothpaste commercial actors to shame. They finished up and left.

After 2 hrs. of walking, they finally made it to the market.

"Ahhh....I'm so tired now, it's been like a million hours since we left the tea shop!"

"What are we gonna buy?"

"Probably some veggies and meat."

"Kagome is that Inuyasha over there?"

"Oh Crap!!"
