Whoever said all tales ends in 'happily ever after?'

Beginning

It had felt so great the first time his claws had cut into her skin. Her blood was so dark then. It tasted delicious as well.

I hadn't been hard. Her skin was soft. He only touched her a little, and the blood came trickling out of the small wound like a mini river. She had gasped, and tears had formed in her eyes.

He had shook his head. Foolish humans never could stand a little pain.

"You said you wouldn't hurt me." She had said, her voice cracked. He felt one side of his lips twist upwards. Too bad it wasn't a smile. She shrank further into the corner.

"I lied." He had said, and left her. But not before licking her blood away from the cut. Oh no. Who would have passed up a chance like that?

She had shivered when his tongue touched her cheeks. Her shackled wrists and ankles cold and stinging.

When he came up, she turned her head away and tears flowed free. He chuckled and closed the door behind him.

---

Sweet as honey.

---

The second time he had tasted her was just as sweet as the first time. This time he had found her in the forest bounded with ropes to a large tree. She had probably been captured by some low-life youkai for dinner.

He had not released her immediately, instead choosing to simply stare. She had been shaken, and too afraid to look at him.

The sun had been out that day, but not a living creature was in sight, aside from him and her.

He had knelt down after a while and took her chin in his only arm. Then he had leaned over and grazed his fangs over her smooth and fragile shoulder. It bled crimson immediately, and he was thoroughly pleased.

She had whimpered, and he had ignored her. Sucking all the blood he could from her wound, ignoring her thrashings, he could not help but touch her.

He did not stop until she was just about ready to faint.

Of course, he wouldn't have allowed that.

He untied her from the trees, and brought her back to her worried companions.

She had not said a word throughout.

---

Feeling unable

---

The third time her blood had touched his tongue was in his own castle.

He had had her bound to the thin pole near the wall in his room. She had been sat on the tatami and tears had been flowing down her cheeks. Her scent alone was intoxicating.

Her clothing were tattered and barely covered her.

He had advanced on her, and ripped many cuts into her skin. He tore open old wounds as well, the wounds that he himself had inflicted upon her. Her blood had been plenty and he was quite satisfied.

She had fought him the best she could with the chains. Her cries sounded so sweet and helpless. He had fallen in love with the feeling, and he had never fallen in love before.

Her blood was something he could not let go of. He could not stand to lust over the taste for another day.

That was why, on the third time, he had kept her.

It felt sensuous and wrong to touch her.

---

That's why he loves it

---

Now, she is tired, and she no longer fights him.

He is unsatisfied.

So he decides to find another one to play with.

Her blood had been more than plenty this time, but it isn't delicious anymore.

The old taste of sweet sugar always lingers on his tongue. It was never so metallic as now.
