Chapter one

It was a bright day not even one cloud. They were walking through the forest. About an hour ago they fought a big, ugly bear youkai.

"InuYasha can we please take a break?" asked Kagome "I feel like my legs are going to fall off any second"

"Are you okay momma? If your feet going to fall of then I'll tape them like you did my toy"

"Uh that's okay Shippo I didn't really mean it, it's just an expression" she smiled

"Jeez you're so weak Kagome we've been walking for a little while now, and you already need a break"

"I makes agree with Kagome here" Miroku supported his friend, and well he was tired too.
"We've battled a demon and most of us are tired, and we've been walking a long time now"

"Feh, fine I'll go fine a place for us to make a camp" with that he took off into the woods.

...Five minutes later...

"Come on, I found a clearing not far away from here" InuYasha turned around and started walking in the west direction. 'I hope there's a hot spring I really need a bath' Kagome looked at her skirt it was soaked with blood.

"InuYasha is there a hot spring?" she asked with hope in her voice.

"Yeah I saw one by the clearing" trying to seem like his annoyed, even though he always trying to find a place to camp by a hot spring. In about 10 minutes of walking they arrived to a clearing. Kagome set out the camp with Sango. After they were done Kagome collected her bathing things and turned to Sango.

"Sango would you like to come with me?"

"No thanks Kagome. I'll keep an eye out for Miroku so he doesn't peep on you."

"Why Sango I wouldn't dare to look at Lady Kagome, only at you"

InuYasha snickered when he saw Sango blush like a tomato followed by "Hentai!" with a loud smack.

"So Miroku was it still worth it?"

"Oh yes InuYasha, it will always be" 'He'll never learn" thought InuYasha. Then he saw a soul stealer.

"Kikyo" he ran into the forest. 'Poor Kagome' both of them thought.

"Ahh this is so relaxing" Kagome was laying in the hot spring. "I think I've been here to long" looking at her fingers they were all wrinkly. She got out and started to dress. Humming she slowly was walking towards the camp, when she heard voices.

"InuYasha do you like that reincarnation of mine?"

"Uh..."

"Well?"

"Of course not, she's just a shard detector"

"Tell me what she's like"

"Well... Um... she's very clumsy, she's very weak unlike you and she's very easy to kidnap"

Kagome was standing there her body was shaking. She quietly and slowly walked way and then started to run. She was running as fast as she can not caring where. When she got tired she sat down by a tree. Crying hard.

A tall figure was hiding in the shadows of the trees. He was watching her since the came into his territory. He had seen InuYasha and Kikyo. He knew why she was crying

"I'm not weak" suddenly she said looking up at the sky. The crescent moon was shining bright as if trying to lend her its warmth and comfort. "I don't care anymore. I'll lock up my emotions except happy." She continued to her self. "I'll be strong and get over the pain. He will no longer be in charge" She stood up and walked back to the camp.

InuYasha smelled tears mixed with Kagome's scent. 'Shit she saw me. I just hope he didn't hear me say those things about her' he though

*Half an hour later*

"Kikyo I should be going"

"Alright. I will wait till next time my love"

Kagome came back to the camp and started cooking ramen while humming a song that always helped her feel better.

"I think she saw InuYasha and Kikyo" Sango whispered to Miroku

"I must agree with you she hasn't said a word and she's humming the 'Happy Song'"

"Yeah but I wonder why isn't she crying or going home. Not that I mind"

"I'm only guessing she just got tired of crying."

Sango nodded and went to help Kagome. When ramen was done Kagome handed ramen to everybody. Moments later InuYasha came. Kagome pointed at the bowl by the fire. 'Doesn't look like she heard me saying those things thank god' InuYasha thought.

'Hmm I'm running out of supplies' Kagome thought. 'maybe I should go home and get more, and I'll get time to study'

"So!" everybody jumped from Kagome's sudden reaction. "I was thinking maybe we could play a game" she smiled.

"We don't have time for games wench"

"We have plenty of time since its night, mutt"

"Wench don't call me a mutt"

"Why can't I? You call me names, or do you prefer dog boy, doggy or a pup? Every time your going to call me not by my name I'll call you those names. I'm sick and tired of you calling names."

She turned to Sango, Miroku and Shippo.

"Sorry you guys, this doggy ruined everything" InuYasha growled when she called him doggy. Kagome just ignored him and went to her sleeping bag.

"Come on Shippo"

Shippo bounced into Kagome's bag and hugged her.

"Momma could you tell me a story?"

"Sure honey" and she started to tell him a story.

Sesshomaru was laughing inside. He had heard her call InuYasha names. 'I wish you knew about me Kagome' Sesshomaru thought. He had admitted to him self that he is in love with Kagome. 'That mutt doesn't deserve you. One day I will be the one to give you my comfort' He turned and flied away to his castle. Rin was waiting for him in the castle.

Kagome woke up and started to make breakfast. 'I'm going to keep being happy I mean why shouldn't I? I have a family and great friends and the most cutest son on the earth.'

Everybody woke up to the smell of breakfast.

"Morning!" she said with a big smile

"Good Morning to you too" Miroku replied

"I'm going to have to get some more supplies, and I need to study a little bit. I'll be back in a week or so"

"WHAT!!! We don't have time to..."

"Sit"

Thump

"See you guys later!"

She went to the well. Sesshomaru had returned in the morning to watch over Kagome. He followed her to see where she lives. When Kagome came to the well she took out a piece of paper and wrote something on it. She put her legs over the lip of the well and prepared to jump when she felt someone to take hold of her arm.

She turned around and saw Sesshomaru.

"What are you trying to kill yourself Kagome?"

"No..." 'Wait he called me by my name'

"Then why were you about to jump into the well?"

"I'm going home Sesshomaru-sama, and what are you doing here?"

"I followed you to see where you live, since your clothes are very... unusual" Kagome blushed

"Well, um... the well is a time portal where I live 500 years from now" He sniffed the air and sensed that she wasn't lying

"Um...well...if you want to I can take you with me and show you" she was very nervous. He just nodded.

"Okay I think we should jump together since no one can pass through exempt me and the mutt, but promise not to kill anyone okay?"

"This Sesshomaru of the Western Lands gives his word"

They jumped together into the well.
