Encounter

Many have glorified this incredibly flawless assassin.

Yet no one can truly figure out this elusive creature as it gracefully walks upon this earth that is feudal Japan.

His face looked like it had been engraved from the choicest of marble.

No wings adorn his shoulders, which I instantly expected thinking that he was a fallen angel, or more admirable thinking of him as an angel that had been kicked out of heaven.

His unemotional face intrigues me to further investigate his motives.

Golden eyes pierce the soul, and make my breath stop in my throat.

His markings are curious to my untamed eye as it wonders around his lovely frame, and thoughts of what is to come instantly taint my virgin mind.

He smirks, thus showing his pearly fangs to me, where I had seen blood dripping from them, yet I felt no fear towards this killer in front of me.

I felt weak under his predatory gaze, which further excited me.

His graceful hands fell softly to his sides, both of his arms incredibly powerful looking, yet I still yearned to be held by them.

His soft boa floated aimlessly behind him, and I secretly dreamed of rubbing my face on that soft surface.

He suddenly appeared in front of me, and I took a step back, but found myself firmly against a tree, even though his body was not touching mine.

I smelled his scent, and it smelt of a calm rain and a raging forest all at the same time, which caused me to further be caught in his trap of curiosity that now consumed by being.

His long silver face brushed my face, and I shivered and reveled at its apparent softness, and I itched to run my fingers through it.

All of a sudden, I felt his breath near my left ear, and I instantly closed my eyes.

He then said, "Do you fear me human?"

My breath quickened in revelation that his voice sounded like seductive lazy thunder, and the chills it sent down my spine were not to soon be forgotten.

Most humans would have been frightened away by his mere presence, but it was all too alluring to me to think of trying to avoid him.

I swallowed and decided to answer him. "I do not fear you Lord Sesshomaru".

I could have sworn that I felt a smirk on my neck, even though he was not even touching me.

I then felt brave and opened my eyes.

He looked at me curiously as I looked at him straight to his face.

I then realized how close his body was to mine, and I stiffened my body so that I wouldn't back down from him.

He then smiled beautifully. "Good".

His simplicity left me angry and still as curious as hell.

I watched as he walked slowly away from me without looking back, all of the grace he possessed was showed in the original way he carried himself.

"Next time then..." I whispered to myself as I too went my own way, back to where Inuyasha and all my friends were waiting for me.

I had simply wanted rescue from the angel, but he could not grant me sanctuary.

That was when I knew that I had fallen in love with the devil himself, even though he looked as harmless as a rose.

His thorn was in fact his own dignity, which I was more determined to break through, and get him to love me as I do him.

I, Kagome, wish to leave this hell, and fly safely to heaven with the one that I met in the graveyard of Inutaisho, the Great Past Lord of the Western Lands.
