Other people have complained about that chapter before. It seems to have been confusing to everyone, despite my warning at the beginning of the chapter. I thought that reversing the timeline would make it more interesting and I just wanted to test out something different. After all, FM was my very first fanfic ever, so at times I used it for a bit of experimenting.

I thought Koyama would be a good match for him, since she is equally loyal to Sesshoumaru (albeit less fanatically HAHA) and her character would be good against his.
