Shikon Regional Map
Picture information
Description:
Hey everybody! Merry Christmas!
So I've been wanting to draw a map for the Shikon Region from my story Shikon Champion for a while now. Since the start really, to show what the region looks like, and where the cities are in relation to the whole and each other. You'll be familiar with some of the cities so far, but here is a list of them, which I will update as they are revealed in the chapters.
Edo :: Kagome and Sesshoumaru's home town, and the start of our story
Musashi :: the first way point on the journey
Gorintou :: location of the first gym :: lead by Miroku Watanabe
Taijiya :: location of the second gym :: lead by Sango
Raimei Valley :: location of the third gym :: lead by Hiten and Manten, self-dubbed the Thunder Brothers
Niwatei :: location of the fourth gym :: lead by ???
Seki :: location of the fifth gym :: lead by ???
Shinidamachu :: location of the sixth gym :: lead by ???
Kazan :: location of the seventh gym :: lead by ???
Doukutsu :: location of the eighth gym :: lead by ???
Mt. Hakurai :: way point on the way to the Shikon Plateau :: rumoured to be home to a legendary Pokemon
Shikon Plateau :: location of the Elite Four :: ??? ::: ??? ::: ??? ::: ???
Kagome has also kindly marked where the well and Goshiboku are located on the map, but has kindly requested the we do not reveal their location to anyone in order to protect them.
There is also a Safari Zone in Shikon, and as you can see, you must travel through it in order to get to Seki, Shinidamachu, and Doukutsu, so the gang will be making there way through there.
I also found this amazing advertisement for Pokeballs, and felt that something like that would be included in a map. Short of making this an extremely long project with tons of information, I made a legend and placed the advertisement. It was created by a wonderful designer by the name of John Cheng. Do check out the original poster, and his other work!
