Courting Gift - Desires Unmentioned
Picture information
Description:
"Gold gazed into sapphire entirely unveiled. Kagome was overwhelmed by what she could see in his eyes as he spoke softly. "Miko Kagome, will you allow this Sesshomaru to court you?"
She took a deep breath to steady her voice. "It would be this Kagome's honor." His hands rose to the back of her neck, and she could feel him fasten a necklace underneath her hair. Looking down, she couldn't see anything.
Fortunately, her bag was close enough that she didn't need to rise to reach it and find her mirror. Tilting it to the right angle, she gasped. A silver crescent moon, embedded with sapphires, was strung on a delicate chain. Small sakura blossoms with ruby hearts dropped from the chain at intervals. The moon hung between her collarbones at the hollow of her throat. It was gorgeous, and suited her so well.
Distantly, she recognized, earlier Akane had said he'd commissioned it. He hadn't found something at a market stall, instead he had gone out of his way to acquire something unique, just for her. Somehow that, more than anything else, proved how intent he was on this. He really wanted her."

The background picture is not mine, nor is the image of the necklace stand.
Please let me know how you like it.
