AN: Ok, so apparently I didn't exactly do this correctly. I have fixed it hopefully. Sorry.

Why did she have to get involved? He could have killed her! She didn't mean to get involved, but she did. So now she is running for her life from the most powerful Taiyouki in the lands! Without paying attention, Kagome ran smack dab into a 'tree'.

"Miko, you will cease your actions."

"And why would I do that?! You were trying to kill me!"

Sesshomaru internally sighed. "Miko, if you do not stop your rambling, this Sesshomaru will be forced to do so for you."

That made Kagome freeze mid sentence, He would make her? Why did he keep calling her miko when she has a perfectly good name? "I have a name you know! And it's not miko! It's Kagome! Ka-Go-Me! Its not that hard to say it people!"

Sesshomaru just looked at her with his stoic mask in place. He would call her what he wanted to. He is the Western Lord after all.

Kagome couldn’t believe that she had actually yelled at Sesshomaru. It wasn’t completely her fault. He had been acting like a total prick! What else was she supposed to do?! Kagome swore that the next time she heard someone call her something other than her name that she would lose the last piece of sanity that she possessed.

Kagome had just walked into the little village named Edo. The reason she had left in the first place was because she needed to have a little time to herself. The whole reason was to have time to think but that had been short lived when she had heard a little girl scream. That little girl had turned out to be Rin, Sesshomaru’s ward. Rin was, at the time, being attacked by a vicious snake yokai. Luckily, she had had her bow and arrows with her. Kagome had reacted quickly and dispatched the demon quickly. She had been checking Rin over for injuries when Sesshomaru had showed up. He had merely told her to explain, so she had, but then she just had to be nosy and ask him just where he had been. Then she had the gall to insult him and tell him that if he were a true man, then he wouldn’t have just left Rin with that good for nothing toad for protection. At that point Sesshomaru’s eyes had flashed red. Kagome’s eyes had gotten wide and she turned and ran. Of course he had caught up with her and the whole confrontation began. In the end she had apologized and in turn he had let her leave with her life. Now that she had arrived in Edo, she half expected what she heard next.

“Oi! Wench! Where have you been?!”

“I went for a walk, Inuyasha, and now I am going home!” Stupid Inuyasha, why did he have to be so inconsiderate?! Right now she didn’t care that they still had to find the rest of the jewel shards and destroy Naraku. All Kagome knew was that she was going to go home for a while, and when she got there, she was going to seal the well so Inuyasha couldn’t get through.

“You can’t go home, wench! We need you to find the jewel shards.”

That did it! She was not a wench! “Inuyasha… SIT! Is that all I am to you? A jewel shard detector? I am cannot believe you! After all the times I have stayed by your side, not because I had to, but because I wanted to! I am going home, Inuyasha and I don’t know when I will be coming back.” With that said, Kagome left Inuyasha in his crater.

When Kagome made it to the well, she sighed and jumped. Little did she know, however, of the golden eyes watching her.
