I don't own Inuyasha or 50 Shades, I simply have a perverted imagination and wish to share it. Lol This is all for fun and clearly I've changed names of Characters, only the situations are similar and I'm doing my best to make those slightly different. Rated MA for later chapters and language.
Also, VERY IMPORTANT! This whole story could probably be considered one big SPOILER ALERT for the 50 Shades stories, so if you haven't read them....please do....if you've gotta smutty loving mind like me then you'll love it. I was honestly surprised how much I liked them and within 5 chapters into the first book I went ahead and bought the ebook trilogy. I read them in a week. lol
So without further adieu....
CHAPTER ONE
"Sango, I can't believe you're doing this to me!" I scoffed at my best friend of the last 15 years.
Sango rolled her big brown eyes, sick and puffy from a seasonal cold. "Kagome, you know I wouldn't be asking you to do this if there was any other choice. I waited almost a year for this interview and if it doesn't happen today, it's not..."
"Stop! I know Sango, just calm down before you give yourself a fever. I'm just bitching because of my fucking social anxiety." I say sadly, taking the opportunity to turn and check my simple makeup one last time.
Sango coughs and sighs while snuggling back under her downy comforter, her Meds finally kicking in. "I know, but you're 24, interaction with humans is bound to happen Higarashi."
And with that the fabulously sick Sango Sato promptly passes out.
I check my watch and see that I have another 45 minutes before I need to head out. Where was I going again? Hmmm, oh that's right, Tashio INC. in downtown Tokyo, that's only about 20 miles away, at least it's not going to be too long of a drive. Sango once had to go to Osaka for one of her super exclusive exposés. Sango is a truly amazing journalist. I should probably look over her questions. Sango tends to be a bit ...aggressive.
I open the folder she gave me and the first thing I come upon is profile on the billionaire Sango was supposed to interview.
Name: Tashio, Sesshomaru
Lineage: Inuyoukai, Eldest son of Tashio Clan.
A Taiyoukai? What was Sango thinking? I'm a miko for kami sake!
Occupation: Owner,CEO of Tashio INC.
Creator, Director Food for Thought
There's at least 10 other jobs listed, I'm already overwhelmed.
Hair Color: Silver, long, usually worn in a long ponytail or sophisticated braid.
How thorough Sango....
Eye Color: Gold in color.
Other Physical Attributes: Blue crescent moon on forehead.
Now that I think about this, I think I have heard his name before. I mean how could I not, as I skim the pages I see that Sango noted that Mr. Tashio is the wealthiest man in Tokyo and the surrounding areas. I officially feel sick. I glance at the clock and I need to leave, shit. I never did check over Sango's questions.
I gather up all the things I need. Recorder, check. Question packet, check. Directions, money, ok I think I have everything I need. I give myself a once over before I leave. My long dark brown hair is in wavy, lose braid falling over my right shoulder. I'm wearing a simple grey oversized top, with my nicest dark green blazer over it. I've got on one of Sango's black pencil skirts, and my new green flats that match my blazer. I would wear heels but I've always been told that I am too tall. My makeup is minimal and soft, I've never been one to wear a lot of war paint. I don't have time to put in my contacts so I slip on my prescription, two tone Ray Ban glasses. I think they look nice over my too large blue eyes. I sigh. This is as good as its going to get today. Personally, I think I look nice, it's the most professional I've ever looked.
I jog down the steps of my apartment building. I can't be late for this interview, even sick, Sango would kill me if I messed up this " once in a lifetime opportunity." I roll my eyes at the memory of that lecture. Sango just needs to be glad that I love her. There are so many other things I could be doing on the only day I have off in between my finals. Like sleeping.
After starting Weebo, my rickety old yellow VW Bug, and successfully getting on the highway, I put the new Maroon 5 album in and select my favorite song. Luckily, the traffic was light and I got to Tokyo in record time. It's a good thing too because I had to stop three times to ask directions. It was all too easy to understand that I am definitely not from the area once I pull up to Tashio INC. It's at least 120 stories, and probably one of the tallest buildings in Japan. Maybe this was a bad idea.
Before I can drive away in fear, I nearly pee myself when someone taps on my driver window. It's just Valet. Calm down Higarashi. I roll down the window and smile a nervous smile.
"You can't park here miss." The young man says politely.
" Oh, I'm sorry, if you wouldn't mind telling me where I can park I'll move right away. I have an appointment."
"What's your name miss?"
"Oh, Higurashi, Kagome for Sato, Sango." I say in my most professional voice.
The young man dressed in a black suit stands tall and turns to discretely speak into his ear piece. A few seconds later he leans back down a smiles a warm broad smile.
" Miss Higurashi if you would like, you can exit here and go on in. Mr. Tashio's secretary will meet you in the elevator."
I resist the urge to sigh, I really don't like anyone handling Weebo but me. But when in Rome...
I smile and nod, grabbing my bag containing all my materials, and exit my car. I take a deep breath and try to calm my nerves as I walk into the imposing building.
I was stopped by the front desk, and asked for my I.D. so I could receive a guest tag. I finally reach the elevators and as I walk up I come face to face with a pretty girl, that looks maybe 18. She's got a cute pixie hair cut and an infectious ear to ear smile.
"Please tell me you're Kagome, I've asked like 50 people!" I can't help but to giggle at her bubbly concern.
"That's me." I smile.
"Great! We need to get up there, you're interview is in 5 minutes and the boss man won't take kindly to tardiness of any kind." Her smile ever bright even with the warning.
She turns and looks at my panicked face and I'm brought out of my anxiety induced faze out by a delicate hand touching my arm.
"Hey, I was just kidding. Well, not really but it'll be fine."
"How do you know?"
"Oh, you know I completely forgot my manners. I'm Rin Tashio, secretary and little sister to the scary Tai on the top floor."She giggles. She really is cute, but that did nothing to help my nerves.
I smile anyway and decide to keep quiet. This is all in my head. I'm asking someone else's questions, I'll be fine. I'll be fine. The elevator dings. We're on the executive level. Floor 125. I've never felt so far from Earth.
Rin guides me down a long grey corridor, towards a singular set of big wooden doors at the end of the hall. Rin has been chatting animatedly for the last couple minutes but all I can hear is the ringing in my ears. Why am I so nervous? I give myself a mental shake. I can do this.
"Remember you'll do great!" I nod and smile at Rin's enthusiasm. And with nothing left to say, Rin announces my arrival into the wall intercom and then the door buzzes and unclicks.
"Just walk on through! And good luck!" Rin smiles bright and gives me two thumbs up.
I turn back to look at her and attempt a smile but fate, always on my side, has other plans and before I can stop myself, I go falling towards the beautifully polished wood floor.
............
I attempt to prepare myself for a semi painful fall to the floor but it never comes. I open my eyes and look up. Maybe I hit my head. I'm looking into the face of a kami...I must be. Then it spoke.
"Girl, have you no manners?" His deep voice washed over me like a hot summer rain. Then I register what he said and realize I've been staring. But what a view. Sango should have added a picture to her file. I can't believe she did this to me.
I stand up, the Adonis still holding my arm, "I apologize Sir, I thought I was going to hit the floor." I look at him with large wide eyes. Shit, is this Mr. Taisho? I think I just fucked this interview, staring at the man, I mean youkai, like he's a select piece of meat. I'm so ashamed of myself.
My subconscious shakes her head at me and rolls her eyes.
For a minute we just stand there looking at each other, then I realize that he still hasn't let go of my arm, and one of his beautifully clawed fingers is lightly stroking a spot on my arm. Taisho's eyes seem to glow for a second and I can feel the blush rising up my neck to my face. His eyes cool back to their haunting gold and he releases my arm. What the hell?
He glares icily at me and I want nothing more than to run and hide.
"Hmmm...well...I can't have you scuffing my floor." And with that he turns around and is already back at his desk, which is clear on the other side of his monster of an office.
Oh right, Tai youkai.
I watch him retreat with my mouth slightly gapped. He has some nerve!
"You're Sango Sato I presume." He says as he sits down gracefully in his large, plush, leather chair.
I walk up to his desk and bow slightly, "No Sir, My name is Higurashi, Kagome. Unfortunately Sango is sick and couldn't make it, so she asked me to conduct the interview in her absence."
He looks so stoic. I wish I could tell what he's thinking, but all I receive is a, "Hmmm..."
I stand in front of his desk, once again caught in his glowing gaze. I'm waiting for an invitation to sit, but it looks like I may be...
"Well don't just stand there gawking, sit." He says while pulling out his Blackberry, typing away.
I glare and mutter an attitude filled,"Yes Sir."
Taisho's face shoots up, momentarily forgetting about his Blackberry and when I meet his eyes they're glowing again, and the look on his face, well, it looks like he wants to devour me whole.
I shiver involuntarily and he smirks. I shiver again. That smirk could make the nasty Spider hanyou from my favorite anime quake in his boots! Right now his smirk is doing strange things to me and I really don't like or understand it..
"You're here with a purpose, I presume, Miss. Higurashi?" He speaks in a smooth even tone and I have to physically force myself not to shiver again. I'm truly pathetic.
"Please, just call me Kagome. And yes, Sango gave me a folder with her questions." I attempt to regain my composure and begin setting up everything for the interview. I set up the recorder, and my notebook and pen.
"Are you ready...Ka-go-me?" Each syllable of my name said with a deep vibration that has me stupefied.
I'm sure my mouth is hanging open and laying slack on the floor. My subconscious takes my hanging lip and curtain rolls it back up to my face. She is clearly not amused by my reaction.
I blink and then glare at the smirk that seems to have permanently attached itself to his handsome smug face. "Yes, I'm ready. Shall we begin?" I say with a little more anger than I mean to project.
Taisho's eyebrow shoots up in surprise, or amusement...I can't even tell anymore.
"Maybe you should turn on the recorder before we begin." His voice holds a clearly amused tone.
I can feel the blush starting to rise again. I want to throw this damn recorder at his perfect face. I pick up the recorder and push the switch on the side. Not the power switch. The batteries fall to the wood below with a series of clatters and clinks.
I sigh and close my eyes. This day keeps getting better and better.
Without looking back at the demon lord in front of me, who is surely looking even more smug than before, I slowly push my seat back and drop to the floor to collect the run away energy sources. I quickly find three but I don't know where the other one is. I'm on my hands and knees trying to locate the last battery when I hear what sounds like a growl coming from behind me.
Seriously?
*I'm already working on the next chapter, hopefully it'll be longer. :) *
