Meeting Mika

 "Come on Inuyasha let's stop for a few minutes. Everyone is tired." The half-demon, Inuyasha, didn't bother to stop. Frustrated the miko stomped her foot and didn't walk a step further. Her fox kit who had been sleeping on her shoulder fell off and bumped his head.

     "Oh! I am so sorry Shippou!" Sesshomaru who had been watching the whole thing fought back a smirk. He noticed that these past few weeks Inuyasha had been ignoring his pack and not looking out for their health. He too stopped.

     "We shall stop here." The demon slayer, Sango, and the monk (Slap!) make that a perverted monk, Miroku, stopped and sighed. Ever since Sesshomaru had joined their group they been taking more breaks and getting more jewel shards.

     "Who do you think you are! This is my pack and not yours you bastard!" Inuyasha wiped out his sword and pointed it at his half-brother. He knew that Sesshomaru could easily take his place as the pack alpha, but he was the leader right now and that means that he made the rules. Inuyasha knew that Naraku had most of the jewel shards right now and that means they couldn't stop. It was his duty as Kagome's protector to help her. Looking into Sesshomaru's eyes he couldn't see anything but a void. Ever since Inuyasha could remember he was always like that.

    "I could easily take position as alpha half-breed. As alpha you need to look out for your packs health." Inuyasha roared and was about to attack when suddenly...

    "SIT!" Sesshomaru put his sword back into his sheath and looked over to the miko.

    "I can do my own battles miko. We may re...I smell blood. Lots of it." Everyone looked at eachother then to Sesshomaru, only to see him walking in the other direction. They all followed him and left Inuyasha in the ground. After a few moments they entered a clearing and could see the trees burnt and the grass gone. Everything was colored red.

   "Look! There is a person in the middle!" Kagome ran to the person and could see that it was a girl. Her black hair matted with blood and dirt. She only looked to be around sixteen. That was when she saw the ears on top of her head. She was a half-demon. Her kimono, which was once the color blue, was now red. Kagome yelled to Sango to get her backpack and first-aid kit. The girls breathing was shallow and her heartbeat slow, but still there.

   "Sango I will need your help. Miroku you keep Shippou and Rin away. Also make sure Inuyasha will not bother us." Miroku nodded and took Rin and Shippou away to play. Inuyasha was still buried in the ground. Sesshomaru looked on as the girls tried to save the girls life. He could smell another scent on the girl, but couldn't determine where he smelt it before.

   Kagome finished wiping off all the blood on the girls chest and could finally see her wound. It was a huge gash from one side of her stomach to the other. She had no clue who could have done this to a poor girl. Sango handed her a bottle of hydrogen peroxide to kill any kind of infections and gauze to wrap around her stomach.  In total it took about two hours to complete.  Kagome wiped her brow and looked at the girl again. Her face had a few scratches and bruises. Her body also had a few bruises.

   "Sesshomaru, do you mind carrying her back to the campsite?" Sesshomaru looked towards the girl on the ground and saw her ears. Disgust ran through his veins and he turned around without saying anything. Kagome sighed and looked to Sango. Together they carried the girl back to the campsite.  kagome looked through her backpack and found a spare kimono that she never wears. It looked like it would fit her. Together Sango and Kagome changed her. Inuyasha had woken up moments earlier and wondered what has happened. When he first got a good look at her, he saw her ears. They were fuzzy and black. Almost like his. He felt sad because of what she must have been through.

   "Where am I?" Everyone jumped at the new voice. The new girl was awake.
