Unknown Interest

He watched her as she danced around, oblivious of her silent observer.  A smile graced his lips unbidden.  He would never admit that he loved to watch her.  It was his guilty pleasure.  His interest in her concerned him.  He didn’t know what it was that drew him in.  It wasn’t her beauty for she was quite average and it wasn’t her grace as she could trip over everything and nothing.  It must be, he mused, the enigma of her.  He always had loved unraveling a mystery.  For now he contented himself to watch her dance among the fallen leaves.

I came up with this drabble when I was writing my entry for 100th week on dokuga_contest.  I was really happy with it until i read it over and realized I hadn't included the prompt in the drabble.  That made me feel dumb, but I really liked it and didn't want to change it so I decided to start a drabble series.  I don't know how long it will be or when I will update since I just write these when inspiration strikes.
