Chapter 1

A poem I wrote like a year ago... I just found it and thought that I should post it here =D tell me what you think? hehe thanks and love ya! ;*

my breath is lost in the cold vast night
no one around, no way to fight

the time has come, there's nothing to fear
the road is lit, my path is clear

don't think I'm crazy, don't think I'm insane
since this is all just started when you broke our chain

I no longer know whats false and what's true
but i know i can't live in a world without you

you're the reason I'm hurt, The reason i'm in pain
the reason my soul has an eternal stain

the rain is stronger, the sea is wild
the wind is howling, escaping the tide

i took a step closer, i'm almost there
will i feel any pain? do i even care?

another step closer, closer to the end
i remember our secret kisses and the daisy's you sent

this is it, the final step
my last choice that i will never regret

I whispered my goodbye and took a deep breath,
I jumped down below, into the dark water depth

cold
black
alone

curious
anxious
afraid

my heart
it hurts
my body
is numb
my eyes
they cry
my lungs
they scream


a faint glow
a hand reaches out
i hold on
lightness everywhere
warmth
comfort
no more pain

I open my eyes, im in a trance
why am i here? is this another chance?

did i live? did i die?
i feel my clothes, they're warm and dry

was it a dream? but it felt so real
I can't think anymore, this is all too extreme

I stood up and thats when I found
The man who lay next to me, without a sound

His eyes were overflowing with pain and distress
I wonder if he's thinking of how my life was a mess

His eyes met mine and i hugged him close
this is wrong i thought, why was he so cold?

thats when i realized, im not dead
The reason he's here is to save me from myself

" you have to stop blaming yourself for all thats gone
it wasn't your fault, what you're doing is wrong"

" I cant !" i cry , this is all too much
" i need you next to me, i miss your touch!"

" I know my love, but we cannot be
for you have a life, while i am lost at sea"

" If you haven't saved me then i would have died
I would be with you somewhere in the infinite tide!"

he wiped my tears and kissed each eye
he smiled and whispered his last reply

" you can't play with fate and expect to win
renew your life, look for a place to begin

please don't stay living in your current state
move on with your life while i will wait

Enjoy every step you take in this world
and accept all the challenges that will soon unfold

Don't think about me day and night
but keep a small place for me inside your heart

I'm sorry my love, i cannot stay
but i'll still watch over you from far away"

He walked towards the shadowy sea
slowly fading away until he was no more to be seen




the years passed by and i am no longer alone
my grandchildren cuddle up to me, escaping the cold

yes, i got married, but i never forgot
the days spent together, and all the happiness that you brought

I moved on with my life but in my heart theres a lock
that no one can open except the one who stole my heart

i close my eyes and there i see
your smiling face reaching out to me

"is it time?" i smile, giving him my hand
"yes my love" he says with a joyous laugh
