"How many times I gotta say it, K'gome?" Inuyasha folded his hands into his sleeves, ears twitching in agitation.

"I just don't want to intrude."

"Wouldn't be intrudin'. Bastard said the doors are always gonna be open."

Considering said doors were tall enough to accommodate a dragon, Kagome wondered if Sesshoumaru had meant it as a metaphor.

Inuyasha rubbed the back of his head. "He's serious about it. Claimed we'd saved Rin enough times for us to call it home."

"We would've done that anyway! We don't need—"

"It's an honour thing, Kagome," Shippou cut in. "We'd be insulting him if you said no."
