I thought the subject of Kagome's infertility may come up eventually (especially after the conversation Sesshomaru had with her husband earlier in the story), but I didn't see this. *distraught* How could I miss it?! Repeating characters, irrational jealousy, a mentioning of a relationship... Am I loosing my touch?! *frantic* Oh my god...
Inuyasha's aging? I know he's getting older, but to look middle aged after only three-hundred and seventeen years? And what about Rin and Kikyo? You mentioned that Kikyo looks different - less shadowy and more like an experienced version of her old self - but I wonder if she's middle-aged as well. Hmm... It's nice that they've taken in the orphans though. The children must be very young if Sesshomaru's two-hundred-year-old daughter only looks to be ten to twelve herself.
Well, hopefully, Brandt and Gisela will be a few continents away and just not so fond memories by next chapter. Their damage has been done. Kagome's in pain again and Sesshomaru will be thoughful and troubled for another fifty or so years. ...Is it wrong of me to want The Order to capture and kill Adele? I know that wouldn't undo her existence (and it'd probably cause Sesshomaru to go through some sort of crisis for abandoning and/or never really knowing his daughter), but she wouldn't be there as a constant reminder of what he and Kagome have to wait another one-hundred and forty-ish years for (please don't torture us this way and have them be some sort of twisted life-long, I lived with and saved your life a long time ago, buddies after everything's said and done). Plus, she's a racist. Who needs more of those? Ugh... How could you DO this? *sobs* Eight months... T^T
As much as I despise the content of this chapter, I have been looking forward to its appearance all year. It was well written and I'm glad you're back. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment, but I'm looking forward to this "*fun*" chapter you're supposed to be publishing next time. *sigh*
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! ~Animefreak242 aka Kawaii Girl
It's been a while since I read this story so I went back and re-read the entire thing. I remember why I have to take your writing in small doses. You have the ability to make me feel so many emotions through your writing. You can make me laugh, love and then rip my heart out and leave it lying on the floor. It really is amazing. Keep up the wonderful work. It's unbelievable what you are able to do with this story.
Guardian_Pocky (Chapter 12) - Sun 28 Nov 2010
I love your works :]] and this chapter almost made me cry and hate someone I didnt even know, all at the same time. I felt so bad for Sesshomaru, he longed for her for 11 years while she only waited for 3 before marrying :[[ I cried when they were having the disscussion and he found out she was married, and he couldnt have her till her husband died but then it still wouldnt be the same as it was before she married. I Now HATE Kagome's husband, Whats his face! I want KAG/SESSS!! So badly! I cant stand him getting in their way! Its not fair for Sesshomaru or Kagome because they belong together and they should be together! I know that she will get with Sess but it wont be the same cause she was already married! >:[[
AB (Chapter 16) - Sun 28 Nov 2010
The question is: Will KAgome will be able to have children?
L-desu (Chapter 16) - Sun 28 Nov 2010
what a wonderful chapter, ups and downs and all. i had an inkling of what was to come before the bomb dropped, but it still took me a bit my surprise, even so. i love how you had Sess quell Kags fears while still maintaining his "Sesshoumaru-ness". you are truly a beautiful and inspiring author. keep up the awesome work! i can't wait to see what's next.
Wonderful, truly amazing! Every chapter is so perfect that I read it and then wonder why aren't you a published author? Because your work is that good. Or maybe you are, and in the spare time you just have to gift us with stories such as this one.
Have a wonderful week,
Paralelsky
That was well worth waiting for! I love the way you wrote this chapter, in particular. It was poignant, and emotional, yet restrained. Kagome has lived a long time, and even when she was a fifteen-year-old girl in love with InuYasha, she had admirable control and dignity in that (somewhat similar) situation. Sesshy was perfect too. And you know, I have wondered whether Europeans brought disease to Japan, as they did to the Americas, except for syphilis, which went the other way... I very much hope you can update soon, I love this story more than any other.
just finished reading up to date in an all nighter.. and I WANT MORE!
xD great so far. :D :D :D
i really do hope that there is a way to cure Kagome of the barrenness and maybe it's just some weird thing >.>
but if not... still a great story.
Lauren (Chapter 16) - Sun 28 Nov 2010
*screams and jumps up and down* Review to come soon. ^O^
I went through a full circle of emotions on the 16th chapter. Holy hell. thank god Sesshomaru is a man and an observant one at that, otherwise the ending may not have been as 'clean'. Still sucks that the countess has a tab on him like this. I'm really interested in seeing what transpires over the next few years with Adele.
Blaire (Chapter 16) - Sun 28 Nov 2010
OMG FINALLY!!!!! ;DDD I have been dying literally for the next chapter of this story and I pop on Dokuga tonight and behold a new chapter. My jaw dropped and it continued to drop as I read this glorious chapter :D Amazing. simply amazing. Please muse of yours keep it up and pop out the next chapter asap.
Ashley (Chapter 16) - Sun 28 Nov 2010
The amount of time and research you put into your writing shows how much you care about the story you tell and your readers. Thank you for the update.
It was lovely.
omg that totally blindsided me!!! I guess if I had payed more attention to things instead of just sess and kag i might have caught it, but prolly not lol
Melly (Chapter 16) - Sat 27 Nov 2010
Holy cow! It's updated!! This just made my day!
Fantastic and as always qand well worth the wait! Yes, some part of me saw this coming! I was hoping against all hope that they had both been through enough, but alas what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. I have a feling that this will just make the bond that has been growing for hundreds of years stronger and stronger! I truly enjoy the way you write I get caught up in the storytelling and I'm always dismayed whem the chapter ends. Thank you for sharing your talent and I look forward to your next chapter!
Naomi (Chapter 16) - Sat 27 Nov 2010

Epitome of the potential of fanfiction as an art form. Near 7 years of reading Spark/Fanfiction/Dokuga works and this is by far the greatest I've come across. This rivals the nostalgia of Tales from the House of the Moon. The feel of this is different than anything I've read, and it lingers after the chapter ends. I think it is the realism--it feels, more than any Sesshoumaru/Kagome fiction has ever felt, real. And god the surprise in this chapter was a kick to the gut. Thank you so much for this O_O!!
I'm in love with the history revolved around this story. I hope to see more soon!
shaberry (Chapter 15) - Fri 19 Nov 2010
Hello. =) I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely LOVE this literary work of art that you have created. Also, I was wondering if or when you were plannng on updating.
Meara (Chapter 15) - Tue 19 Oct 2010
I love how you read the fic and then get a history lesson at the end! Seriously though one of the best fics I've read. For me it's a firm 2nd place, right behind ladybattousai's Seven Feudal Fairy Tales, and right in front of your very own The Once and Future Taiyoukai. I just love this and I really hope you continue it. You rock my socks lady, you rock my socks. XD
