The Tale of Cupid (or Eros) and Psyche is one of my favorites. I actually own a translated copy of The Golden Ass. Ha! What a title!
This is an excellent beginning, very rich lush and erotic, with a touch of budding passion and romance. I really enjoyed reading this and it works in keeping with the original tale where it fades to black in the intimate scenes.
