Great chapter, please update soon.

It is an interesting start and well written, it's just that it's written in present tense, (e.g. has been running) and then in some places switches back and forth to past tense.  I personally am a fan of past tense as most stories, published or not, are in past tense.  If you look at the stories of your favorite author, it is likely that it is written in past tense,(e.g. She HAD been running.) except for the dialogue. However, I would enjoy a present tense story just as much if it is a well written one. So, if you have challenged yourself to write in present tense, that is fine, but might wish to pick one and stick with it. There were just a few words missing letters but they were easy enough to overlook.  Overall, I find these to be the only...drawback.... as the rest is a great start.
