I delightful little story, though I do not understand why Kagome transformed, nor why Sesshomaru new to anticipate it. It just made the conclusion a little hasty when you put so much more time into the build up. However, these are only my opinions.

This is such a touching oneshot. You can't help but be happy for everyone and feel bad for Inuyasha, as he was the only one who lost someone close to him. My guess is that Midoriko's spirit asked Kagome to wish the Shikon Jewel out of existence and not for Inuyasha's happiness, as he would have to find it on his own and to do that, he'd have to move on past Kikyo's death. Anyway, I love the happy ending between Kagome and Sesshomaru. Good enough for a sequel in my opinion.
