Maybe it's just me... but I feel like you lost a bit of focus with this chapter. On the negative side - you haven't stayed true to the way you had been originally portraying Kagome. Going to Sesshomaru in the hopes of trying to get him back, after painting her as a woman often burned by love, and more than a little apprehensive about it, made me feel like I was reading a different story. I get her appologizing for her reaction and hitting him. Thats more than acceptable, but the way she was so timid, and hoping something would be rekindled made her NOT like the Kagome you've been developing up until this point, in your story. There hasn't been enough evolvment in the plot and characters for there to be this kind of change just yet. On the possitive side - the way you DID portray Kagome in this chapter is more true to character, for certain! Although I would highly recomind deciding which way you wish to portray her from here on out, and sticking with it. Just be true to what you want to express in her character and personality (even if it isnt like the anime, remember its YOUR story and you own how you represent the characters in it. OOC is NOT bad if done thoughtfully.), and if you wish to evolve her personality (which is always good) then there needs to be gradual evolvement in the plot as well as the characters. This was just too sudden a change IMO. Also, I'd be very careful about reuniting these love birds too quickly, or you risk rushing the story, and loosing all the wonderful angst you've built up. Too many get togethers and break ups in a story make for bad entertainment and confusion. One or two really angsty and twisty love lost scenarios are all a really good story needs. Otherwise very good work. I thought the gift of the bows was very clever, and I hope you refer back to them at some point. I also enjoy reading about Sango and Miroku's involvment. Many stories forget the importance of the secondary characters, but you seem to have it spot on, so great work! I'm still with you, and looking forward to another update! Please dont be discouraged by my review, because if I didnt like your story, i WOULDN'T make the effort to leave constructive critisism... and I hope that that is how you take it, because i really do love this story.

argh! You spoiled me with all of those speedy updates and I was going through withdrawls! I'm not sure why u were medicated, but I hope everything is better now.

I'm anxious to see how Kagome will react to Sesshomaru. I have the feeling she wont just forgive and forget. I mean she really put herself out there, trusting him and loving him and in a way he kind of betrayed her. I just hope that this time she isn't a complete bitch to him like she was last time. I hope she gives him a taste of his own medicine - cold and indiference. See how that makes him feel! :-P lol

Soooo bad!! I knew Inuyasha was definitely up to no good. But, why is he so focused on Kagome? Was he abusive to her and wants someone he can control? I hope Sesshomaru owns up to his feelings enough to actually confront Kagome and not just give up. Kagome needs to be cautious, knowing how Inu is, she has to realize it's not over. As always, a terrific job and cannot wait for more.

this chapter had me hanging on every word im excited kagome realized just what she needed in her life and im glad inuyasha got what he deserved blue balls and no kagome =D thats good for him for what he has been doing to her and i hope everything works out wit kagome and sesshomaru and i hope sesshomaru will listen to her cause God knows hes stubbprn...so please UPDATE SOON

i loved the last chapter so don't be dissapointed in it!!! Kagome really got into inuyasha and found her back bone!! WOOPWOOP! I just hope kagome can get a hold of sesshomaru in time!

i think that was the first time i ever seriously considered giving up on a fic. I was so angry with the turn the last chapter was taking I was afraid it was going to stay like that. WHEW *wipes sweat from brow* thats a load off dont do that again!!!! i really like this fic an im interested to see where its going to go and how Sess and Kag will get together in the end.

YES! She did it! YAY! Now she should find Sess and tell him everything. How Inuyasha hurt her and the park and then tell him that she loves him and the she's ready to be anything that he needs her to be. I can't wait for the next chapter i hope to read it soon.

Kagome, YOU GO GIRL!  That was awesome.  I love seeing her assert herself and stand up to that idiot.  No man should ever hold a woman down like that.  You should be true to yourself.  A good man will encourage and bring out the best in his partner and visa versa.  I just hope that Sesshoumaru knows that....

BRA...VO!!! Excellent job dear. For a second I thought she might bend, but you brought out the stronger Kagome. It was about time the cloud has lifted. I love it! Iam so proud of you! You are doing great. Keep up the good job. Inu deserved to be left like a stuttering fool, I mean really, why bother. He is sooooo not worth it. Now to get Sess to listen, which means she'll have to step her game off, control her emotional outburst and really talk it out. Can't wait to see the next step. I know Inu is not giving up, but at least it was a start.

Ok, yes, she overreacted just a tad, especially the slap, but considering how you've doner her character, it fits. Since there seems to be issues on both sides, I think they both still need to talk it out, but they do need a break. I can see Inuyasha coming in and damn near destroying her again. Is that where you are going? Overall I tnink it was great and could feel the anguish, anger, and pain of both. Keep up the great work!
