They're getting closer!  I think this time apart was good for their relationship.  I can't wait to find out what happens when Kagome returns to the feudal era!

Excellent!

First I loved your level of description in this and the insights into the characters.  Using music to bring Sesshoumaru and Kagome together was a clever plot device. I love the idea of them quietly becoming closer through sharing bathing and other interests.  That slow steady building of a rapport between them made the first kiss and other encounters much more meaningful.  When you had him rescue her at the end of the chapter it was a perfect ending to a nice gradual and very smoldering buildup.
