This fic sounds REALLY familiar. Did you maybe post this on another site? I'm in deja vu. I know that the plotline is one used in other fics and this may be just your spin on this but either way, it has gotten my curiousity aroused and I need to read more. Most people would have InuYasha angry or even hate Kagome, feeling betrayed somehow, but this is the InuYasha I know from the series anime where no matter what happens they all come together as a "family" and love each other unconditionally. It makes sense to me that InuYasha would think to send Kagome home knowing Sesshoumaru's hate of him being a hanyou. He wouldn't take that chance of her being killed because Sesshoumaru couldn't control himself. Maybe he was drawn to her because she was fertile and his inner self could sense this but the need to control the heat was too intense to care...Anyway, I like this and I'll be waiting for the next update. Very nicely done and very well written! I agree with everyone else...too bad it's only a one-shot it could be a really good story and would be interesting to see where they would end up (hopefully together). I truly loved it though and Sesshomaru's character was so sweet and caring...ya just gotta love that! And the ending with the smile was perfect...I would smile too. My only question would be where did she put Sesshomaru's shirt (or whatever it's called) that he laid on her and she smelled? If I was her I would have hid it on me so I could have it as a reminder! :) Great job!!
