Awwwe... that was a sweet ending
i just read your story and i liked it. i wonder what would happen if sesshoumaru was a real person?; i think a lot of women would be jealous of any woman who was able to get him. GREAT story and i hope that you write more.
AMAZING!!!! I love the whole csi idea and the cases that were featured in the story! also, i figured orville would end up checking up on her at the hospital, i was so excited to be right!! all the drama was great & really fit in well with story! I'm also glad you brought Inuyasha back into the picture, I wasn't sure if we were ever going to see him after the case was closed.
This story was absolutely incredible and easily made it onto my favorites of all time. Very original, very passionate, just awesome.I couldn't stop reading it, and it cost me quite a bit of sleep.
I do, however, have to whine a bit about the typos. I know you take great pride in your work, having read others before, but something happened here. There are so many mistakes, transposed letters and run together words that spell check would definitely have caught. I know one note said that you were using a new word processor, so I supposed that explains some of it.
I was just hoping that you might at some point do a read-through and fix at least the most glaring of errors. There were times when I had to stop and reread and think about it to try to figure out what it was you meant to be saying, which slowed down the flow of an otherwise wonderful story. I know it's hard to find errors in your own work, but some of them I know you couldn't miss and it would do so much to improve the reading experience.
I hope I haven't offended, because I really did love this story more than I could ever explain. Hell, I even made my husband listen to me blather on and on about how much I was enjoying it. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the problems.
Now I'm going to read some more of your completed fics, even though I should be completing my own!
Just went back to the beginning and started to read some of dokuga's earlier stories. I LOVED it!!! You are so talented. I liked Kagome at the beginning but I must admit IMHO, she was HORRIBLE in this story. I had moments in which I thought "What is she DOING??? Is she bipolar???" And indeed she was definitely dealing with siginificant trauma and development of coping styles that were hindrances to developing a healthy relationship--with ANYONE
I have never read such a story in which she was such and unsympathetic hero. And I say that with a bow in awe of your creative prowress. I would expect the emotional stuntedness from Sesshoumaru.... but it was VERY unexpected in Kagome, yet at the same time it is believeable for someone who has experienced that level of traumatic rejection in his or her life. I was enraptured with the story from the beginning, and an enjoyed the allusions to their respective miko and youkai heritages. It was especially interesting and well crafted how you played the traditional roles of Sess and Inu, having Inu being much more comfortable with standing out instead of finding somewhere to belong and having Sess being the one who wants to blend in--YET they still remain true to their essences with Inu being gruff to cover his softer more vulnerable palces and Sess striving for perfection and self-sufficiency.
My favorite characters were Kagura and Inuyasha. Their characters provided some much needed support and stability, and most importantly, perspective for Sess and Kag. Inuyasha especially morphs into this diamond in the rough (And I do mean to say that is his endpoint....After all, he started WAY worse than rough. But his heart of gold eventually shines through, and he wouldn't be our Inuyasha is he wasn't still rough around the edges a bit.) Kagura simply shines, and seeing her written as the take charge force of nature, like thee wind blowing through all the drama of the Sess & Kag rollercoaster. I wanted to give her a five when she gave Kag what for after she rejected the proposal (I wanted to shout "IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!!!") anf when she gave Sess the kick in the butt he needed to go after her.
Overall, just plain awesome!!!
ory young lady is just brearh takingly beautiful and i loved every second of it, job well done. :)
I love this story. It was AWESOME. Great job.
Aww, that was the cutest story ever! It was very, very original and made me coo multiple times! c: The lemons were fantastically done, too! You incorporated many of my favorite ideas into this story: Forensics/Crime, Boss/Employee, Older/Younger, Latin/Ballroom Dancing, The Airport Scene, etc. It was so very realistic, too, which I believe made the story that much better. It wasn't "love at first sight" and never too corny. You really seemed to know what you were talking about throughout the entire thing, especially when it came to the crime and forensics things. And usually, stories will seem far too dragged-out for me if they exceed 30 chapters, but that wasn't the case with this one. :) You are a very talented writer and I truly enjoyed reading The Best in the Field. It made my heart race, made me cry, laugh, scream, get all hot-'n'-heavy,.. everything! ;) Kudos to you, and I wish you all the best!

... aaaand I just realised that I manage to review the wrong story. .__. Damn you, multiple tabs D:
I'll go now off to die of mortification, after which I'll crawl back to continue reading THIS story of YOURS, and then possibly spam you with reviews actually belonging to the right story.
Sorry and bye.
Awwww, how cute! I just love to see Sess and Inuyasha getting along, no matter how little their interaction might be. This was short, but still in many ways sweet, so no worries, it was a good read. ^_^
I'm usually too lazy to leave reviews (bad me) but I decided I might as well drop you one. Just to let you know that I enjoy reading these wonderful fairytails of yours. :3 In fact I spent entire last night reading these through, despite my roaring headache. So in case you already didn't know, you're doing an amazing job. :D
