Jessica Patterson (Chapter 1) - Tue 23 Jul 2019

Wow this was absolutely beautiful and heartfelt.

Krisan (Chapter 1) - Mon 15 Jul 2019

Don’t apologize for making a great tearjerker story Sugar0o, but I’d wager you actually enjoy looking at us reader red-eyed and sniffling while trying to finish the rest of the story. I love how you make the 1st pov Feels so soothing. It flowed very well. in fact, if you’re aiming for a solemn vibe for this story, you totally nailed it. It feels nostalgi, and when my playlist coincidentally started to play “Suteki Da Ne” By rikki, I thought my heart would just combust. anyway, thank you for the beautiful works ♥? I really love it

Qairun Nisa (Chapter 1) - Fri 12 May 2017

Midnight7 (Chapter 1) - Wed 15 Apr 2015

Wow!! This story was absolutely breathtaking. I love it from start to finish. As for the 1st person for someone who doesn't think they did great you did amazing. The story was easy to follow along when you switched povs. I can also honestly save I never have cried as much as I did when I came to the end. I'm glad they got a happy ending though even if it was in death. Keep up the amazing work!!

Evellin (Chapter 1) - Sun 16 Nov 2014

Yup. You got me to cry....

Well done! I don't usually like 1st person, but this was enjoyable!

Amorza (Chapter 1) - Tue 01 Jul 2014

Simply beautiful.

Kounami (Chapter 1) - Thu 20 Feb 2014

Wholly beautiful and endearing. Tragically sad yet whimsical. I loved every moment of this beautiful love story and it is the perfect oneshot. For if it were anything else... it would be too much. You captured their feelings so vividly... I almost felt as if I were watching this unfold upon a screen. I would so love to read more fics like this... by you in the future. Since you captured Memoirs of A Geisha so wonderfully maybe you could capture something else? The Notebook would be nice!!!!!!

Stella Mira (Chapter 1) - Tue 21 Jan 2014

Goddamn random posts that make me recall this story once again and reread it for like the fifth time in two years... just for sheer masochism? I dunno, but this always makes me cry and it's a good thing and a bad thing and thank you for writing it.

Much love, r0o!

kaoruhana (Chapter 1) - Sun 10 Nov 2013

This story was beautifully written.  I’ve written in first person before and I swore to never to do it again  because of how hard it was.  I liked the details you put into this story: they were simple, managing to capture moments and imprint them onto us, rather than go from place to place and have us remember lots of things.  Maybe, the only real complaint I have is that there were a few typos here and there, which are normal.  I’m not sure what you were going for with this story (I forgot your authors note and am lazy enough to not go back and check it) but, if it was experimenting by telling us a story from Kagome’s point of view, then you succeeded.  As a reader, if I can lose myself in a story and imagine things clearly based on the author’s descriptions, then I like to think it was a good story.  If the story goes a step beyond and I feel the emotions of the characters, then I think the author has written superbly.  I think this story falls into the latter categorization.  This is a story that I’ll visit over and over because I want to and I like it.

Danielle (Chapter 1) - Fri 09 Aug 2013

That was a wonderful story. I have seen the movie Memoirs of a Geisha and I have to say you did it justice. Really very nice!

Hassanah (Chapter 1) - Sat 20 Jul 2013

Ah...this story moved me like no other for a LONG time...*shakes head* so beautiful, beautifully sad. It is so fitting to be beautifully sad as a geisha story...so BEAUTIFUL... Ah I normally dislike a sad themed story because it lays heavy on my heart; but this piece lies heavy on my heart...in a GOOD way. *sigh* beautiful that's the only word I can keep saying! It is written beautifully, the tale is beautiful...ah just beautiful!! Youve got me in a mellow insightful mood now lol! Thank you so much for this beautiful piece! x

LadyCake (Chapter 1) - Sun 05 May 2013
