Its a modern AU where naraku was stalking kagome and had injured her by inserting miasma into the wound. She was saved by inuyasha but after naraku had cut kikyos brakes kagome disappeared and went into hising with sango and miroku. She ends up meeting sess, inuyasha and their dad and they all were trying to protect her when naraku starts contacting her again.

Sess has adopted rin and she is a baby, touga is with izayoi and kagome isn't kikyos reincarnation. They eventually pick up shippo when they find out him in a park. The pink guy from the band of seven was there...(wanna elaborate but spoiler). Sess almost dies tryna remove the miasma from kags and she just goes completely blank and manages to kill naraku no prob. I have more details if someone thinks they can help it's a really old story but I was suddenly thinking about it.
