Kagome, an unappreciated museum assistant, runs, quite literally, into the enigmatic Sesshoumaru, who soon proves to be not only mysterious,but ancient and powerful as well. With the reappearance of Sesshoumaru's greatest enemy, the demon Onigumo, she becomes the protector of the nameless sword, a job which requires her to fight demons, succumb to visions, and save the unknowing world in the process.
